Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to the Hotel Apollo Dimora in Riyadh, I found a comfortable yet modest accommodation option. Ideally situated in Bathaa, it's a stone's throw from the Masmak Fort and various cultural sites, which any archaeologist would appreciate. While the surrounding area buzzed with activity and local vendors, my room on the fourth floor provided a welcome respite with its quiet atmosphere. The hotel features practical amenities like a fitness center, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi in the rooms, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being somewhat dated, cleanliness was consistently maintained, and the friendly staff offered helpful assistance with local navigation. I opted for breakfast in the lively neighborhood, where an array of small eateries serves delicious, affordable cuisine-ideal for those wishing to immerse themselves in the local culture rather than dine in at the hotel. While the Apollo Dimora may not provide the high-end luxury some seek, it certainly represents sound financial wisdom for travelers looking for comfort and cultural experiences.
